What’s in your Soap?

Updated: Feb 28

Transparency is crucial when it comes to personal care products like soap. It's important to know what ingredients are in the soap we use, considering that it's applied to our skin, which is the largest organ of our body. Being aware of the ingredients allows us to make informed choices and ensure that we are using products that are safe and suitable for our skin. At Fairy Cottage Soapery, we handcraft all of our soaps right in our Soapery so we know exactly what is going into each and every bar. We use a proprietary blend of the following oils to elevate your bathing experience and feed your skin! Coconut oil is known for its cleansing properties and ability to create a lather in soap, making it great for removing dirt and impurities from the skin. Sustainable Palm oil adds moisture to the skin and helps create a hard bar of soap. Olive oil is moisturizing and nourishing, leaving the skin feeling soft and smooth. Rice bran oil is rich in antioxidants and vitamins, promoting skin health and reducing the signs of aging. Apricot Kernel oil is light and easily absorbed, making it ideal for hydrating and conditioning the skin in soap. Castor oil adds lather and helps draw moisture to the skin, leaving it feeling hydrated and refreshed. Combining these oils in soap creates a luxurious and beneficial product for the skin. We would love for you to try out our extensive line of soaps and feel the difference!
